Addition of audio

Thanks for your help and input
Howdy. Hope all is well with you and yours.

The site changes have gone pretty smoothly. We still have a few pages to tidy up, but 99% of the info is intact and working. Jo & Mel have worked real hard in replicating the content and we'll iron out the issues very quickly (we know some links don't work, some pages are missing and some content needs adding. No need to mention it.).

I notice Jo added a pic of me in the top of the home page - I first thought she had breached copyright of a successful movie.................but then I realized that in fact it was me, and not Shrek as I first thought! Could my head be any bigger??

In an effort to keep the site interesting and different (and because I like the sound of my own voice) I've just learnt how to easily put audio on. Click the play button below for a welcome message.

It's an audio file that is compressed into a Flash file, which means it plays immediately without any delay.

Thanks again for everyone's input. The vast majority of the changes have come about from my survey a couple of months back (takes me a while, but I eventually get things done!).

Cheers

Brendon

The style sheet seems to be missing. You site disappeared before my eyes.

Brendon, the problem with the style sheet is probably related to its path. You may want to have Jo try to use an absolute path (if you're using an external style sheet, of course). Nice changes and nice pic!

Thanks Guys

Fixed those - appreciate the input.

I was curious why you added links to pages that do not go anywhere (i.e. products, link to us, location map)? It's my understanding, as a fellow web developer, to add new links, pages, etc. when they are ready. These "bad links" could frustrate users - to the point of not returning to your website.

P.S. I do like the overall layout and congrats on building the site in CSS.
The website looks great. I'll get a little knit-picky and say that I had a bit of trouble separating each of the articles. You may want to put an extra space, or a "- - - - - -" between each article item. Same goes for free info. Not a big deal - just something I think could make it better.
Hello Brendon, good work.
But, you have one problem with the link to the javascript file:(this is the error message)
--Error: syntax error
Source File: http://www.tailored.com.au/java.js
Line: 8

Hey Brendon,

Glad you decided to convert your site into CSS. It runs a lot smoother now. One thing I've noticed for quite a while were the blogger comments. They seem a bit messy and hard to read. Maybe you can get that looked at too.
I was having problems with your home page, but nothing else. When I visited your home page today the navigation stuff that's supposed to be in the left column ended up not showing until after the rest of the website's content. It's hard to describe, so I'll demonstrate it in a drawing below.

This only happened on the home page, but since that's the most important page, you might want to have a look.

Oops, I lied.

It also happens on "web" and in at least one article "putting yourself 2nd" or whatever it was called. The drawing got muffled, so I'll do it again.
Where you see periods, pretend they're blank spaces.

Thanks for the feedback

Aware of the issues and we're fixing them as I write.

Whilst I know it's a pain when pages don't link, etc my thinking was to just get the new design up and going because if we didn't it'd be another 6 months before we did.

With it being live it now puts the pressure on us to get the fixes done.

Thant was my thinking anyway.

Thanks again.

Brendon
