US Broadband Subscribers Increase By 34%The US Federal Communications Commission has just released its data on high speed services for Internet access.
According to the report, during 2004 high speed lines serving residential, small business, larger business, and other subscribers increased by 34% to 37.9 million lines.
What that means is that web developers can look at rich media (video and audio especially) with renewed interest and apply the use of those media to sites to provide a better experience for the web visitor.
