We are currently doing a web site for a client who hires equipment. I'm writing some of the web site copy.

I asked him, via email, why it's better if people hire rather than buy.

The answer?

"Because I make more money that way."

Fair enough!

The Best Line I've Ever Used

I gave a speech to 200 Business Students this morning. My wife was in the audience.

I was talking about how advertisers use attractive women in marketing because when a guy looks at an attractive woman a part of his brain gets more active. This part of the brain makes the guy feel happy.

Next time the guy sees the product (minus the attractive woman) he feels happy and is more likely to buy it.

I pointed out my wife in the audience and said....wait for it........."Looking at my wife for the past 16 years means I've been happy every day."

My wife blushed just a little.

What a line! What a guy! I'm becoming a new age sensitive man. ;o)
