.....drum roll please.
Firstly, thanks to everyone who emailed me. Most mentioned the fact that I didn't have the web site address on the certificate (I'm a guy who develops web sites and I implore all of our clients to publicise their web address at every opportunity - and then I forget to put it in the most obvious place!).
But That Wasn't It
Here's the winners email:
"I would suggest that you put on the certificate "Club 100 Member 2005". With the aim of getting them to repeat their contributions yearly instead of a once off contribution (ie recurring income)."
Exactly right. And pretty basic marketing.
If their is no time sensitivity with their membership their is no incentive to donate again next year.
