Should I Wear A Tie?
Should I Wear A Tie?Tina showed a friend these online video sites of ours:
www.seobookreview.comwww.googleadwordsreview.comThe friend commented
"Oh, I thought he'd be wearing a tie."We discussed wearing a tie at length and decided against it.
What do you think? Does wearing a tie increase credibility? Would it increase our sales on those sort of products? (We'll be testing later with me wearing a tie.)

Among other people who have soent a lot of time on the issue of business dressI think there was a fellow named Brandon or Brundun or Brendon or some such who wrote a great book on selling web site service who gave a lot of words to dressing the part ;-)
It might be correct to say you should always dress a level above the folks you are trying to attract ... dress as the professionals they would seek out for help dress ... does your lawyer or your physician normally wear a tie in the office? It may be that there in your lovely laid back resort area ties are uncommon, but it certainly would be out of the norm to see a professional here in Colorado without one on the job.
Also... your posture just looks a bit weird. I think it would look better if you were in a higher chair.

Dave, yes ties are very uncommon where I live (sub-tropical) - you're almost looked donw on for having them!
I figured that our target market for those sites would be younger and wouldn't wear ties as often. So that's what we went with.
Tom, yep I look like I'm hunched and leaning forward. All part of the figuring out the best look process.
Thanks.
