Online Movement Gathers Momentum in Australia!eMarketer.com summarises the "Broadband Barometer 2006" report, and points out some interesting finds. Key points:
- 90% of Australian small and medium businesses (up to 199 employees) now use broadband internet connetions, and 98% have some kind of internet connection.
- Dialup use is down from 20% last year to only 6% this year.
- Small/Medium businesses are really getting on the VOIP bandwagon - up from 1% last year to 19% this year.
