Most Popular Cameras On The MarketFlickr is an online photo sharing site that is hugely popular.
It's a great way to store, search, sort and share photos. Every photo that gets uploaded to the site automatically sends data about the camera that took it - that's an enormous amount of data, because there are millions and millions of images stored on Flickr.Anyway, the guys at Flickr have collated the data from all these photos and found the most popular cameras used.

I've just got a new camera - a Pentax Optio A10. It's so small it doesn't even feel like a camera.
I prefer the bigger, chunkier cameras too.

thanks for the interesting link, but I think that the one from Canon made it to the top, look at the graph below the pictures...
Maybe you got misled through the huge featured model area, which is subscribed "Featured Model is a sponsored placement" (would be interesting what sum Nikon had to pay Flickr for the inclusion).
What the graph from Flickr lacks of is a temporal graduation as we know it from Google Trends (or at least a mention of the underlaying timeframe), but it's better than no graph at all though...

Although I said that we don't know the timeframe in which the data was collected, we do (I just saw that there IS a hint about it): "These graphs show the number of Flickr members who have uploaded at least one photo with a particular camera on a given day over the last year."
And on the manufacturer page there's even a 30-day-graph... Fine!
