Thanks For These Donations - And I Received My Biggest Donation So Far

It's Australia Day here in the land of Oz and that means a holiday.

It's a perfect day, blue skies and a kind sun warming everyone - we've already been to the beach a couple of times today and had a few swims in the pool.

But I've snuck back into the office to take care of a few things and found a couple of donations from some readers - so just a quick post to extend my appreciation.

The donations are for the bike ride I'm doing from Sydney to Surfers - Tom Walker at tswinteractive.

Tom has been a regular reader and commenter for years and runs a terrific web design and web marketing firm in Victoria BC. Check his site out - he does terrific work.

And The Kind Eric Barnes Donated Too

Also, the very kind, handsome and charming (never met the guy in person, but you donate and you become all this things!) Eric Barnes has donated $25.

Eric has a php classifieds software that's well worth a look. Thanks a bunch Eric.


My Biggest Donation

I also received my biggest donation ever today that I'll tell you about next week.

When it was handed over my wife shed a few tears. Not because she donated money (!) but because of who (and why) made the donation.

This person had just met a true hero here in Australia, had his photo taken with this person and then handed over the cheque to me.

I'll give you the full story next week. I think you'll like it.
