A Video Update

A video update from me would be great - unfortunately there are only 24 hours in each day and I don't have the time just now.

But rest assured those hardy souls who are actually interested in how we've done it, I will spill more as soon as I possibly can.

In the meantime here's the Case Study page we've done so far.

And My Apologies To My Northern Ireland Friend

That's Seamus in the photo above with a pal.

I missed wishing him all the best for St Patrick's Day....to be sure, to be sure - you didn't seriously think I'd go this entire case study without at least 1 "to be sure, to be sure" did you??! :o)

I hope it was a fine day filled with Guinness, song and dance.

Have a good night.

Brendon

Brendan,
About a year ago I purchased your wonderful book through SitePoint and it gave me the courage to give my own business a try. While doing so I fell into the same trap that Sean mentions he did - not updating my own site. What is that saying about a shoemakers wife having the worst shoes? Thanks for providing this great case study!
Congrats to the whole team at Tailored and Inspired. This has been interesting so far and I think consistent results on page one are right around the corner. I appreciate both of you taking the time to share.

I notice the frequent updates from Seamus ... a big help to a casual observer trying to pick a new designer to talk to. The big difference is I see less talk about business activity off line. That's something to consider in future optimization rounds.

Anyway, coffee's nearly gone and it's time I did something useful today, so have a great one, guys.
Hi Folks!

All success is down to the talents of that man Brendon. Or as we, in sunny Belfast would call him "yer wee man Brendy". And whilst he may poke fun at us on the Emerald Isle of Ireland, he is obviously in denial of his obvious Irish ancestry - everyone knows that it was St Brendan, one of our favourite saints, who left Ireland in the ninth century and discovered America, taught the natives how to make a big fry-up breakfast and opened the first pub!

Joking aside, I want to wish all the very best of luck to Brendon and all taking part in the charity cycle ride tomorrow. I don't know where he gets the energy!

PS. Dave.. what did you mean by..
"The big difference is I see less talk about business activity off line." ??
Hmmm. It looks like I need a course in posting etiquette. I managed to misspell both Brendon's name and misidentify Seamus. My heartfelt apologies to both. The great thing about the internet is the ability to reach many people all at once. You can use that ability to efficiently exchange ideas or to portray yourself as an absolute goof. Again my apologies.

PS Seamus, I was curious as to why you do not enable viewers to comment on your posts? Possibly to keep fools like myself at bay!
Hi Ted,

Well, two reasons why I don't offer the facility to add comments:
1. My site isn't actually a blog, its a hand coded asp with CMS site. I haven't gotten round to putting a real blog in place.
2. My posts are too full of goofiness themselves to allow anyone with any sense (yourself included) the ability to comment!
