Google Trends Now Showing Biggest Movers
Just read over on Aaron Wall's excellent SEO Book blog (I review Aaron's book here) that Google Trends now shows the fastest growing 100 keyword searches.Good information - but it reminds me of a time about 12 years ago when a local basketball official breathlessly told me that "Basketball was the fastest growing (by %) game in Australia."
Mmmmmm.
It was easy to be that.
About 12 kids played basketball then. Get another 12 kids playing and you have 100% growth.
Football might only have 10% growth.......but 10% of 200,000 is a whole lot more than 100% of 12.
Just because a term is one of the fastest growing doesn't mean it gets a lot of searches (or maybe these numbers are based on search numbers and not percentages??).
I'll look into this one.
