Miss Universe Pageant - Hot Babes With A Cause!

The Miss Universe pageant is shortly to be won (Monday night US time) with a bunch of beautiful women vying for the coveted crown.

Update: Miss Japan won. She is a beautiful Miss Universe.

I love seeing how the Miss Universe pageant has evolved - from being simply a beauty contest to helping to raise awareness of a range of important issues.

Although that didn't stop Miss Sweden from withdrawing from the pageant for what she saw as a pageant portraying women badly.

I must say that these pageants seem to have taken a step forward in terms of not being just about beauty - the women who enter seem to be great quality people with a bit to contribute to their communities and the larger world.

Australia's Kimberley Busteed is in the running but, as beautiful as she is, my money is on the South American women.

And in case you think I've gone completely insane (and off topic) with this post, I've written this for a good reason. Remember, test, testing, testing!
