Some Reasons Not To Buy Online
I went for a 80 km bike ride this morning with a couple of friends.We called into a new bike shop that opened up in a seaside suburb. One of my friends knows the owner and we got talking.
The bike shop owner told us he can often buy bike gear cheaper online than he can buy it from his wholesalers.
So the questions is: "Why would you open up a retail storefront if that's the case?"
The answers are numerous:
- Not everyone knows where to buy
- Lots don't want to buy online
- Many prefer the convenience of buying from a shop
- Many people want to deal with a real live person
- Some people get off on the shopping experience
Buying something (or selling something) is about a whole range of factors. Feeling safe is a big one.
