A Name Change Is A Coming
Yep, after almost 10 years we've made the name move from Tailored Consulting to Tailored Web Services.We're making this move to reflect the changing structure and positioning of the business in an effort to positively influence the key decision makers of our target market, blah, blah, blah!
The Real Reason For The Change - Our Name Is Stupid
Ok, ok. The real reason is because Tailored Consulting is a stupid name and doesn't actually say what we do. And that's kind of dumb.
I'm not blaming anyone for that name (but if I did it would be Mel!) - it seemed decent enough all those years ago. But now it just seems, well, stupid and unhelpful.
So out with the
Same people, same skills, same service, same everything - just a better name.Cheers

Hard to say, given the way their business changed just what name they should have used, but "Consulting" was never a smart one ... people would call just to find out what we did and many times a propect would say,"I don't want a "consultant" I want someone who can do this work for me.
I don't think "consulting" is a very good image to project in today's world ... I never look twice at 'consulting' offer ... but offers that promise me profit, I always at least read.
