What We See When We Look At A Web Page

What we see here at Tailored Web Services (first mention of the new name!) when we look at a web page is usually completely different to what our clients or prospects see.

Mel, who is the least computer literate in the office, explained it beautifully a few days ago when she said:

"When you (Brendon) look at a web page you analyse hundreds of different aspects including:

• colors
• balance
• font size
• copywriting
• suitability for target market
• search engine optimization
• where the important elements are positioned
  
• trustworthiness
• use of white space
  
• links on the page
• branding effectiveness and
• much, much more

When others look at a web page they see a picture. They think "That's pretty" and like it, or don't like it, because of the way it looks."

Remember, your site has to work. That's what it is there for.
