Not That I'm Obsessive Or Anything.....
When I send letters out about
our ride, or anything to do with Jack, I tend to use
Baden-Powell (he was the founder of Scouts - Jack is a mad keen Scout and I'm the President of
the local Scouts) stamps we have.
I sent a letter to
UK blogger Jamie Harrop the other day. Jamie's an old Scout and now a Scout leader. So he gets a letter with
a Baden Powell stamp.
Jamie noticed the stamp and mentioned it was a nice touch.
I do stuff like that for 2 main reasons:
- it makes sense
- I know the impact that subliminal stuff like that can have
The other reason is that sometimes (not very often) people notice and appreciate the nice touch. Little things can make a difference in building your brand.
Cheers
Brendon

It was, in fact, your big fat book where I first learnt the art of making a personal connection through the small things. When I received the letter, my first thought was it was nice to see you walking the walk as well as talking the talk.
It was, in fact, your big fat book that inspired me to send a squeaky dog toy along with a letter to a potential client after we spoke about a potential marketing campaign using squeaky dog toys. She loved it!
You've inspired many, Sinclair. ;-)
