8 Minutes To # 7 For Funtastic Holidays!

by Brendon Sinclair on August 6, 2008

Wow!

Imagine that!

8 minutes after I write about Funtastic Holidays I get ranked # 7 for funtastic holidays on Google.com.au!

The post is also ranked # 1 for the terms Funtastic Holidays Scams and Funtastic Holidays Scam on Google.

And there isn’t even a link to that specific post…..yet ;o)

Sometimes it’s good when the consumer has a bit of the power to fight back against shite.

I saw a similar thing with Problogger Darren Rowse talking about getting his site unbanned from a major site just recently.

But I guess ya gotta be like Spiderman (or is it Batman) and say “I’ll only use my powers for good!”

Cheers

Howdy Jamie

Thanks.

It’s a development that really interests me – how the media power has moved away to a certain extent to the little guy.

How the wronged consumer can now be heard.

Or they can find out more information now than ever before about a company to avoid being screwed.

It’s a positive thing.

But the danger is, of course, that the person with that bit of power misuses it and gets into strife.

Which is where we get a lot of black hat seo criticism from.

Cheers

The other thing I was going to say is that it’s a post like mine that tends to get picked up as an example of the power of 1 blogger.

And then that just explodes the impact on the business written about.
