Proud father moment ahead.

My son Jack gets more publicity than Paris Hilton here in Queensland where we live.

Here’s an article from a few weeks back.

On the weekend the local newspaper ran a great article in the local newspaper after he was nominated for a local community award.

The most striking thing about the articles has been how many people actually read them.  I always thought people generally flick through the newspaper, but we’ve had heaps of people mention that they saw the articles.

Media coverage works because it gets seen.  It’s that simple.

If only you could forward this great article to the sales woman at the shoe shop you wrote about recently. Jack’s spirit and grit is amazing. He is a deserving winner of this award.

Hi Carol

Yes, I would mention to her that Jack will run the Half Marathon….but now I’m not so sure he will run it.

He’s just got back from a long run – he ran 35 kms without any trouble. He now thinks he may as well run the marathon.

Can you go into the shop and tell her that please? I’m scared of her!

Thanks Terry – actually Harry’s back to # 1 son because he just got me a coke out of the fridge (I’m very fickle!).
