My post below about Miss Spinks has attracted a heap of emails. Seems to be one of the most popular posts I’ve written.
And yes, it’s all true.
Miss Spinks still lives in there to this day (the last time I checked was about 4 years ago).
The sad bit is that, so I’ve heard, some druggie wandered into the shop one day and pulled a knife on gentle Miss Spinks.
She shut up shop the next day and has never reopened.
