Optus have just relaunched the music store at http://www.optusmusicstore.com the Firefox/DRM issues have been taken out and the new store is exclusively mp3 on web.

Hi Devon,

We strive to avoid JS detection as much as possible. When we have to, we’ll typically use feature detection instead of browser detection to avoid problems like this. I don’t anticipate this being an issue for us.

i have an optus mobile, home phone and broadband account and the service is fine, but every time i visit the website (optuszoo) i find myself in never ending loops of logons and redirects. the developers don’t seem to have heard the term ‘user friendly’

What I find hilarious is that they know enough about Firefox and what addon is required to make the site compatible.

Was there a link to install the addon too?

On another kinda similar note, are any of your sites affected by the Opera 10 Y2K bug?
