Poles Might Like To Rethink The Outrage

by Brendon Sinclair on August 5, 2009

Apparently Polish people are outraged over Jeremy Clarkson’s ad for a car.

You know, I reckon they should be more upset at, gee, I dunno…..

The German Army

Sheeesh.  Get some perspective people.

Hey, this commercial isn’t good enough to justify imlying that Polish people were cowards. Especially, that European consensus was to gladly hand over our country to Nazis on fickle hope that there wouldn’t be II war.
Perspective? Maybe. But if you try to make fun of the whole country at least make it funny enough.
And no, as a marketing expert you know that bad army is not as scary as bad publicity. Half the kids now do not know how many people have died trying to defend Poland against German Army. They think II war is ancient history. They wont check the facts and say: hey great joke, but really everybody knows Polish people didn’t back down and fought to the last breath. Nope.
And as for publicity: Japanese killed probably many more than Nazis, but becuase Jewish people refused to back down SS soldiers and alike were prosecuted. Japanese quietly get around their business, never fully admitting to the atrocities they comitted during war. We let it go as a collective of nations.
