Quilton Loves Your Bum!
My 13 yo son came running out excitedly to me yesterday and said “Dad, dad! The toilet paper says it loves your bum!”
Before I sent him to his room for being cheeky he showed me the inside of the toilet roll. And sure enough there it was: “Quilton Loves Your Bum”.
The inside of the toilet roll.Brilliant branding. Quirky, cheeky (pardon the pun) and positions that product as a little different. And would the fact that the brand is quirky and doesn’t take itself too seriously be enough of a difference for people to buy this toilet paper?
Probably. I know my 13yo son would.

Last week after my weekly shop at Safeways,I brought my Quilton 8 pack toilet paper as I do each week(family of six) only to get home, put the shopping away,to find my loo paper was actually paper towel in the new 4 pack! Which is packaged the same as toilet roll.being a mum of 4 I don’t have time to read each packet I pick up, you just grab what your used to, what I’m saying is I think the packaging should change on the towl or loo paper, I’m sure I wasn’t the only one to make the same mistake,When I went back to buy the Quilton toilet paper next day, I took my time to read the pakaging lol . I found it myself one day recently – a part of me found it funny and yes, a quirky marketing slogan. But at the same time, I was trying to think of how disturbed the person who thought it up was.
I showed a few mates during a recent BBQ – one commented quite disgusted that I should see now why he refuses to buy that brand.
That friend has no sense of humour tho
A few years ago now I was at my Mum’s and went to the loo, as you do. Just my luck that I used the last on the roll. When changing the roll I noted ‘Quilton’- Loves Your Bum. The toilet paper was nice on my bum and from that moment on I swore that if they love my bum, i would love their toilet paper. Since then I have only ever bought Quilton. And also have converted a few people because YOU LOVE OUR BUMS
Good For You

hi i have always brought sorbent toilet rolls but discovered quilton about 12 months ago they are the most gentle toilet rolls ive had for hemeroids i wont buy any other brand plus they are a good price regards jennie from penguin tasmania
Quilton is the best toilet paper I’ve ever used. There is also Quilton facial tissues and paper towel. BEst of all they’re Australian.
Someone please tell me why don’t they bring out a Christmas print for the festive time? The first one to do so will be number 1 seller. I would bulk buy so I could have Chrissy paper all year round. It’s still not to late to get the press’s rolling.
The printed advertising inside Quilton toilet rolls is crude; in fact, I emailed your company many months ago expressing my disgust at such unnecessary advertising and was offered a packet of serviettes! Forget the serviettes.
Now you have gone a step further and your radio advertising is even cruder; it is thrust upon all the family in our home at all times of the day and is quite unnecessary. What chance do we have of bringing our children up to a decent standard?

I wish to remain anonymous.
Geeez Margaret I don’t think we will have a crisis on our hands if the worst word a kid hears is BUM..maybe sex violence and drugs are of greater concern…good on you Quliton for having a laugh
Just read all the comments on the toilet rolls. I have used quilton for years and never noticed the writing on the roll. Must go round with my eyes shut. My comment that is since you have made the paper more softer I have to use a lot more as I find my fingers go through because it is too soft. It was ideal as it was so why change something that was working
I did try the 4 ply but can’t find it in the shops now. Is it discontinued?
Hi all,
Thanks for the comments. This is a very old post, and it seems to be attracting comments from people who think that we are Quilton. We’re not, and we are not related to them in any way.
I’m closing comments on this post now. If you have any comments or questions for Quilton, please refer to their company website at http://www.quilton.com.au
