Doing what you do best - the secret to success
There is no one secret to success. Not one. (Which kind of ruins the headline above - but I'll keep plugging on!)
And I base this not on some flimsy theory. This is based on taking a good look at the amazing success of some of our incredibly successful clients.
Sure, we're pretty successful at what we do. But I'll talk in this article about two- (2) people who are making big, big money. One person makes $10,000 a day. The other one started a business with $50 and, just six- (6) years later has an empire valued at over $15 million.
We are up close and personal with successful people on a daily basis and there is no one secret they possess. With the two- (2) people mentioned above, I'll relate three- (3) of the strategies that contribute to their success big time.
Three- (3) things these incredibly successful people both do!
1. They identify what they do well.
That's often very easy for people to do. People usually do well those things that they love doing.
Both of these guys identified exactly what it was they do well. And then they do the second thing.
2. They remove every distraction that stops them from doing the thing that they do well.
The guy who makes $10,000 a day is a salesman. A great salesman. (I'm not talking about $10,000 in sales a day. He makes a profit of $10,000 a day.)
He has five- (5) Personal Assistants. They do everything for him so that he can focus all of his energies on what he does well - which is selling.
The guy who started with $50 happily admits to now employing people smarter than him to take care of things. You see, he can't be great at everything. So he gets people who are great at the things he's not so good at.
Then just to take things to the next level, both of these guys do this:
3. They systemise every aspect of their business that they can.
Nothing is left to chance. They identify the highest quality. And then put systems in place so that quality is provided each and every time.
Not most times. Not 99 times out of 100. But each and every time.
Most of us get caught up in the day to day operation of our business. Stepping back and assessing how to grow your business can be one of the wisest things you can do.
Give yourself the best chance for success. Remove everything that is stopping you becoming as successful as you deserve to be. You're in business - be businesslike.
